b) a private email server where politicians store embarrassing, unwanted emails, hoping that no one will find them until the statute of limitations runs out.

if you ever let someone enter your personal email dump, definition b), don't be surprised if email dump-definition a)- will be used by that "someone" to "torpedo you underwater" decades later, spelling the Titanesque end of your political career

A email discussion among 5 or more people exchanging more than 20 emails per business day, discussing nothing in particular, lasting more than three months.

"Hey did you hear about Steve and his girl?"
"No, what happened?"
"They're getting back together. Didn't you read email hell?"
"Meh, I had a meeting yesterday afternoon and I'm 138 messages behind."

Email Swirl

Used to define an email thread that becomes unmanageable, unending, and painful. A defining element of any circle swirl, is the fact that the initial question gunned down by eroneous crap, causing the person w/the inquiry to leverage telephony to address the problem.

Darrin emailed his colleague Eileen for assistance with a work related problem. Unfortunately, Darrin cc'd his project team and an email swirl ensued. Darrin had to finally call Eileen directly, to obtain the needed response.
