(come-'ere) a slang combination of "come" and here. It is used in casual situations, and is derived from the fact that some people speak quickly and just combine "come" and "here" naturally.

coner

A member of the "forward crew" on board a nuclear submarine. Steretypically dim-witted and obtuse, coners can often be found in groups wondering why one piece of equipment or another doesn't appear to be working with the on/off switch positioned downward. A common belief amongst coners is that anything can be fixed by some combination of duct tape, coffee stirsticks, and a ballpeen hammer, including but not limited to televisions, computers, 8mm videocasettes, diesel engines, and toilet seats.

There's a couple coners on crews mess fiddling with the X-box..... I wonder how long it'll be before they realize it's not plugged in.

The process of reading a definition on Urban Dictionary and finding it clever until you check the thumb ratings and see it is generally not liked. In the following moments you tell yourself it wasn't ever that funny in deep shame.

Works in the opposite sense also.

coders glaze

The distant stare coupled with a lack of motivation to sleep, eat, or defecate. This state is usually brought on by all night coding sessions trying to chase after that last bug. Applicable to web and application programmers alike.

When they finally broke down the door, they found poor Joe long gone his face frozen in a classic coders glaze fingers still grasping the mouse as an angry 404 error stared back at him from the screen.
