Boomeranger

A child who moves out of their family's house, purportedly to get jobs and/or start their own lives, but who return shortly thereafter to live with their parents again.
As the cost of living increases and jobs become harder to find, more and more parents find that instead of having an empty nest, they have boomeranger children living with them.

boomer scum

A boomer who expresses negative opinions towards young people, acts unreasonably and disrespectfully, or is condescending despite having much bigger problems than the people they criticize
Boomer: Kids these days are so cowardly, back in my day we rode around without seatbelts and we turned out fine
The millennial driving the car: *unbuckles the boomer’s seatbelt and slams on the brakes, sending them flying through the windshield at 60mph* Die Boomer scum!

Boomerhood

The period in the life of an individual born approximately between the years 1945 and 1964 in which a person is considered a boomer. Common habits of this stage include endlessly criticizing the consumer habits of millennials, calling companies to determine the hours in which they're open rather than doing a simple google search, viewing college tuition as only mildly affected by inflation, referring to the Czech Republic as Czechoslovakia even though that is no longer its official name, referring to a conference as a powwow, and above all, attributing the majority of economic problems to millennials.
Walter is at the pinnacle of boomerhood. He refuses to retire, scoffs at the latest iPhone commercials, reminisces that he only had to work for three summers to fully pay off his college tuition, rewears the same 'Nantucket 1970' shirt at social events, and loves to reuse the old platitiude "you can't have your cake and eat it to" at office meetings.

Boomergraph

A boring, rambling, inexplicably-long comment left after an online news article; most often follows a Yahoo article; almost always left by a boomer; frequently, the author's tone is pedantic and smug despite his being completely wrong; the comment almost always includes a disproportionately long explanation of how great and expert the author is.
Confident that his years of watching cable TV have prepared and sharpened his mind for this very moment, the boomer conjured stories of his early years fixing and riding plenty of Huffy bicycles before lecturing the comments section with a 5,000 word boomergraph on the impracticality of electric cars.
