It's funny how so many definitions of God have been given by people who don't believe/don't like him. It's like listening to a Democrat define a Republican or vice-versa.
Also contrary to statements mentioned on this site is the idea of God has brought about SO much death in history. If that were the case, then I would ask why the regime of Stalin (atheist agenda) and that of Hitler (renounced beliefs upon taking control of Germany) caused more death than all leaders from all time periods combined?
Instead, God is an omnipotent deity who is credited by the religious as the being the creator of the world. He acts in mysterious ways and is infinite in nature. It is for the individual to decide if he exists or not, and in doing so respect the beliefs of others. If you are one of those people who disrespect the belief in God and try to make fun of it then I would contend that those actions are evidence for your own lack of respect for your beliefs.

Get the Godmug. An entity that created Heaven and Earth. He is here in the room with you, and everywhere else. Many people blame him for the things that are happening in the world. In this world, Satan is in a constant battle with God. they are battling with your soul at this very moment. If you're blaming him for all the bad things happening, why arent you praising him for all the good things happening? God loves you so much that he gave his only son Jesus to die for us. Only a clean man can save the dirty. Noone else in the world has ever claimed to be A carnation of God, while being PERFECT from birth to death. He is living inside of you this very moment. You may ask, why can't i feel his love? You have to seek it. everyone has their own story to tell. Jesus also loves people who are gay, and are immoral but he will place justice upon them when the time comes. feel free to disagree, but what would you rather believe. Get the Godmug. The almighty ruler of heaven and earth. Well thats "God". If your just talking about "a god" it could be Yahweh, Allah, Zeus, or even Bob if you want.
Some people do not believe in any god, and some believe in a symbolic one. These are the most brilliant people on the planet(including John Lennon & I). They understand that they will not appear in a fiery pit or anywhere else after they die. Yet they live as well as any Christian because they know that hell is every bit of guilt, depression, rejection, and pain felt in life, and that heaven is all comfort, happiness, love, and peace. Some pray to a god for hours everyday. Do they think he enjoys, or is even able to listen to millions of people talk about their problems? They could spend that time doing good for the world and then they wouldn't feel so depressed, & would have friends to talk to instead of just God. If every minute spent praying for God to help the world was spent actually helping the world, we would live in heaven.
