Get the Italian Truck Stop mug.The opposite of a California Rolling Stop. Someone who does a Drivers Test Stop goes up to a stop sign, comes to a complete stop, waits for 3 seconds, and than slowly accelerates into the intersection. Likely to cause low speed collisions, especially in California where drivers are expected to drive through stop signs.
Most commonly done by recently licensed drivers, old people, and minivan drivers.
Note: after three seconds it is socially acceptable to honk.

It took me an extra 5 minutes to get to work today because the guy in front of me was taking Driver Test Stops. He almost caused me to rear end him.

Get the Driver Test Stop mug.When a vehicle stops more than 2 car lengths behind the white line at a stop sign or stop light OR when a vehicle leaves more than 2 car lengths of space in front of it, and the vehicle in question is not a big rig or box truck.
Most offenders are paying attention to their phones instead of the road. In an attempt to drive cautiously, these people leave *too much* space in front of them.
If there is enough space for you to parallel park in front of the vehicle, then that vehicle has performed a San Diego Stop.
This often morphs in to a California Roll if the offender comes upon a stop sign, or a San Diego Swerve if the offender is making a turn.

I noticed this lady next to me at the light had performed a San Diego Stop- I looked inside the window, and she was stuck on her phone! The lady was absolutely NOT paying attention to the road, or to the light for that matter which had turned green! SMH
