N'awlins 

Pronuciation: No-lins

A mysterious, misunderstood town plagued by violence, poetry and charm.
Ravaged by corruption, floods and unrepressable hope, N'awlins is America's most colorful city.

When in N'awlins you can drink beer with your breakfast and no one gives you a second look. The bartenders are friendly, the atmosphere is free and the smell of the exotic flowers blooming in the spring is intoxicating.

Bastar'n Arsehole 

This is a Glaswegian term for a nasty or despicable person using two swear words at the same time with a slight modification of the word 'Bastard' to suit the Glasgow tongue.

Tits'n'Ass 

First born in Scarborough, Ontario. A form of a traditional clinking of beer bottles as one would say "Cheers". First the involved parties clink together the tops of their beer bottles and announce "Tits!", following closely is the clinking of the bottom of the bottles together announced "and Ass!".

arf n arf

Half and half.
A term used to describe someone who has only one parent from Newfoundland. Coined by Newfies to describe half-breeds (half Newfie-half mainlander). An Arf n Arf does not exactly qualify as a Newfoundlander, but is often tolerated.

Charlotte married a fellow from Winnipeg. Her kids will all be arf n arf.
