Girl Math

An illogical reasoning and justification to making an unnecessary purchase used primarily by women.

When someone wants to purchase something, this purchase often being more than they should make, they will make illogical reasoning to justify the purchase, this reasoning is known as "girl math." There is reasoning behind the "girl math," but the reasoning is strongly biased towards the impulsive desires of the user to make the purchase and isn't very logical when taking everything into account from the person's income, to the cost of the purchase, to the necessity of the item.

Some examples of "girl math" are:
- Someone says "I made sixty dollars today!" when they bought something discounted for $440 that was usually $500.
- When buying $300 shoes, "it's less than a dollar a day if I wear them for a year." This "girl math" is commonly used as marketing in product advertisements as well.
- When returning an item, "I made an extra $120 today," followed by immediately going to the store to spend all of it because it was extra money.
- When purchasing something from the store, "it's free because I'm using cash." The reasoning coming from the fact that the purchase won't effect the person's funds in their bank account.

MAGA MATH

Short for “Make America Greater Again, Make Americans Think Harder.” A 2024 slogan to Trumpublicans to make America numerate or quantitatively literate again, by not having Asian immigrants or naturalized Americans but white natives as mathletes to represent the USA at international olympiads.
Chanting his MAGA MATH mantra at rallies, Donald J. Trump promises his blue-collar supporters that only true-blue white Americans would be allowed to be part of the US math teams at all regional and international contests and competitions, and not alien mathletes or math imports.

The Napsterization of Singapore Math

When digital pirates from notorious copyright-violating countries like India, Pakistan, and Nigeria are blatantly sharing Singapore math e-books, students’ and teachers’ resources, and textbook solutions; or are selling them at a fraction of their actual prices.
To tens of thousands of students and teachers in the developing world, the Napsterization of Singapore math looks more like the democratization rather than the illegal dissemination of Singapore math materials to help raise their quantitative literacy at zero costs or for the price of a few megabytes.

Prove it with math.

used in an instance where one wishes to discredit someone where math would never be used to discredit them. This is very much a joke and not seriously meant to discredit someone.

On the flipside, saying: "I proved it with math" should never be used in a situation where you actually proved it with math. It is a joke where you pretend to add credit to what your saying.

Any one who says differently is a liart.

B: No!
A: Yeah!
B: Prove it with math.
A: I... What?
