Träslev

Swedish for "wooden spoon".

Träslev is the tool used to punish you if you make one of the following mistakes in school: you miss a deadline, you make a grammatical error, you give the wrong answer to a question, you come late to class, you accidentally swear infront of the teacher... (so basically any kind of school related mistake).

The most common use of the "träslev" is using it hit or to spank the bottom of a naughty student.

Can be used as a verb: "träsleva"

If someone has been punished by träslev they have been "träslevad" and if someone has been punished by träslev in the past a "träslevning" occured.

I can't get enough of the sansation of being spanked with a träslev
Are you gonna träsleva your stundents today?
He got träslevad because he sent in the essay 3 mins too late
