Englewood is a small city in bergen county, New Jersey. For all you idiots who keep saying calling englewood "englehood" and "the hills"... you're all ass holes. You probably have never travelled past the tracks and have no right to call it that. I'm a white upper middle class citizen living on the "other side of the tracks" and attended private school all my life. I can say first hand this is absolutely not a dangerous place. just because there are black and hispanic people who live on the other side doesnt mean you need a fucking gun. and my best friend who is black lives in what you call "the hills." the last person to shoot a gun in englewood was a disturbed white guy living in a mansion on "the hills." get your facts straight.

1.From the greek word englbritzer, engle is often used in a sense, or term if something doesnt go as planned or works out to your disadvantage.

2. A great term used on the golf course, for either a really good shot or a bad shot. Also used in terms of scoring, approriate for a good or bad hole.

1. I went out with the guys last night to the pub and there were some becker chicks there that we definitely had a chance with. Sure enough we engled our chances and ended up throwing our beef that night.

philadelphia eagles

Formed in 1933, the Eagles struggled in their early years, but became dominant in the 1940s, making 3 straight championship games from 1947-49, winning titles in the '48 and '49 games. Under the leadership of quarterback Norm Van Brocklin, they won their third and most recent title in 1960. The team struggled for many years afterward, turning it around only in the late 1970s. From 1978-81, the team went on a streak of consecutive playoff berths that included a loss in 1980's Super Bowl XV. Under the multitalented quarterback Randall Cunningham, the team had 4 playoff berths between 1988-92, and followed these runs up with 2 more postseason apperances later in the decade. In the early 2000s, the Eagles were one of football's best teams with 5 straight playoff berths from 2000-04. However, Philadelphia's postseason record was dismal and it included 3 consecutive home NFC championship losses. The team finally made the Super Bowl in 2004, but lost a close one to the Patriots. In 2005, the Eagles collapsed, due in part to the Terrell Owens fiasco, and finished with a poor record.
