Waterfall bot

A term for low effort posting karma-farming bots on reddit, who usually have joined the subreddits of r/waterfall and/or r/meirl. The term was (afaik) first seen in r/PeterExplainstheJoke when it was flooded with an influx of low effort "PEEETAH!" (And other variation) posts with memes that spawn the "Bait or Mental Retardartion"Meme

these are robots that either spam, copy and paste other comments or put random things that is not even related to the video and they don't reply to other people.

rt bot

rt bot or retweet bot is a term used on the social media platform twitter (or now known as X)
it means when a user is mainly retweeting other posts, rather than posting their own tweets etc.
these accounts barely interact with others or not at all, and simply uses twitter to retweet their favourites.
rt bots dont necessarily mean a bot, it could just be a regular person.

twitter user #1: hey this account followed me but all they do is retweet stuff
twitter user #2: oh yeah, that's a RT bot

Baldoni bot

Named after Justin Baldoni. A Baldoni bot is a fake account used on social media to try to undermine the misogyny a woman endures after outing an abuser. Similar to the bots created in the Johnny Depp and Amber Heard trial to influence the jury.

Efficiency Bot

Someone who whines about efficiency and/or metrics all the time but barely does anything to actually fix it.

Vacation bot: “We call them Efficiency Bot but their full name is Corporate Efficiency Blockchain Database Metrics Champion Bot. What’s efficient about that?”

Or

Person A: “The metrics just keep getting worse!”
Person B: “Dude you’re such an Efficiency Bot. If you want the metrics to improve then start working instead of whining all day.”
