A hipster lives off of coffee. He or she is like a mystery that you really want to uncover. Male hipsters look like Fancy lumberjacks (sometimes with man buns) Female hipsters wear over sized sweaters, combat boots, messy buns or complicated braids and nerd glasses. Everyone secretly wants to be a hipster.

Hipsters are a sub-culture of self-conscious image-obsessed middle-class white people who have abandoned independent thinking and place a high value on conformity. If people around them are growing beards, hipsters will do the same. If tattoos and piercings become a trend, hipsters will be the first people to flock to tattoo parlours. Hipsters never have sincere thoughts or action. It may be that hipsters were bullied at school and were not very good at sports, explaining why they rarely smile. They console themselves by examining their bank balance, which is usually very healthy thanks to daddy's trust fund.

A hipster is basically someone who thinks because you like mainstream things they are superior to you and they are 9/10 the ones who complains constantly about music in the current time but are the same ones that praise the music that they used to insult back in the days. They will typically insult anyone who likes mainstream music because they.....think they are not independent thinkers.

Non-hipster: Okay, what do you think is wrong
Hipster: It's brainwashing you and I don't want to be a corporate lap-dog, it's making you a follower so no one should like it.
