Surfacebaiting

Referencing some elite ball without knowing the whole thing and when someone else references a more obscure part of that thing you act like they're making no sense.

Bringing only surface level ball knowledge into a conversation, essentially baiting people who actually know ball into referencing something nobody really understands (because nobody else ACTUALLY knows ball) and then ostracize them for doing so.

Greg: "You know what's so funny? That Key and Peele skit where he goes 'Shut up, Mom!'"
