melon shooter

A Muffler with an excessively and impractically large diameter output pipe (or an excessively large tailpipe on cars with mufflers located further from the rear of the car) - especially one that is mated to a much smaller upstream exaust system. Typically used to make a car "look fast" as opposed to modifications that actually make a car faster.

This type of exaust is called a "mellon shooter" because it is large enough to launch a melon that would be inserted into it - if the engine had enough power.

Look at the melon shooter on that Civic - it's as big as a sewer pipe!

Shoetalking

When someone talks about Brunswick bowling balls, how they are drilled, and what they are supposed to do. Conversations are often lengthy, and extremely biased towards Brunswick.

The following is an example of shoetalking:

Blah blah blah Brunswick is amazing blah blah blah Csytem 4.5. Blah blah pin down blah blah symmetric blah blah blah 4000. Also, blah blah Rattler blah blah weight hole blah blah. Brunswick is the best company ever blah blah blah.

A male preening gesture, whereby a man wearing a suit extends both his arms rapidly outwards (i.e. shoot), so that his dress shirt sleeves extend nicely beyond his suit sleeves.

poop shoot

Hello, friend. If you've arrived at this definition, then you don't know how to spell poop chute. That's okay; it's a common error. People often become confused because shoot and chute are homophones. In addition, the idea of one's butt as "poop shoot" does make sense on some level if one imagines the asshole as a sort of gun that shoots poop as a projectile. This sort of thinking, however, is misguided. In actual fact, the imagery from which this slang term is derived envisions one's butthole as a chute from which poop is discarded.

Remember, kids, it's "poop chute," not "poop shoot." The more you know...
