Fumping

Foil-pumping, pumping a (hydro)foil surfboard. The surfer can pump the hydrofoil surfboard up and down to get from one wave to the next, or do it in completely flat water. Fumping requires a whole-body motion that looks spastically unelegant, rotating both arms synchronously while doing sit-ups.
