The pulse-quickening act of exchanging detailed, graphic, sports-related statistics and observations via text at a feverish rate, similar to that of sexting. Often a form of male bonding, and a reflection of a torrid bromance.

Selexting

The act of selectively ignoring texts. When you are in a texting or facebook messenger conversation and suddenly, without warning, the recipient's response is delayed significantly by at least 10 minutes or the conversation ends abruptly and you have no conversation closer.

I was just texting this guy I met on Ok Cupid and we were really getting into a good conversation and he just all of a sudden selexted me. I have no idea where he went it was like one minute he was there and then poof...disappeared.

Or -

I was texting my friend asking her if she wanted to go out. I didn't get a response so I decided to stay in. Now that I'm all comfy in my bed, she decides to respond and wants to go out. That bitch is selexting me!
