Get the Scudmug. Throwing a SCUD while playing darts {especially cricket}. You aim at a section on the dart board and miss and hit something of lesser value. The term was coined during the Persian Gulf War . Iraq would launch a SCUD missile but most times didn't hit its intended target but would hit something of value close by.
I was aiming at triple 18's but I threw a SCUD and hit a single 16. I'll take that ... it's better than nothing..
