Touché Raise

After winning an argument with a stunning comeback, a touche raisé is the act of raising your cup or glass to symbolise that you have won, usually accompanied with a smug expression

Larry David: (stops Conan in mid conversation) Is this my water?
Conan: You can have done that as I was talking
Larry: I could of b..
Conan: You didn't have to say WAIT WAIT WAIT
A lot of guests reach over as Conan is talking
Larry: How could I know that it's my first time on the tonight show
Conan: And your last (Conan lifts up his cup and performs the touché raise)

raising tents

Metaphor for getting a boner under what is usually a blanket, but can also be a jacket or shirt (as long as it's thin enough so that the boner still shows). This phrase comes from the boner acting as the mast that holds up tents (blanket or sheet, for instance).

Morning wood is a specific situation when raising tents occur.

In the darkness of the room, with nothing but the flashing light of the screen, Alex felt himself getting a boner from the hot intimate scene. "Look, guys! He's raising tents!" Angela said as she pointed at Alex's clearly growing lump between his legs.

jerk raise

In Texas Hold 'Em poker, the player who posted the large blind at the beginning of the hand is the last person given a chance to bet before the flop. If all the other players call the blind without raising the bet, the player with the big blind can then raise, causing the betting to circle the table again. This is a good way to make money but a bad way to make friends.

"Well, are you going to check so we can see the flop or jerk raise?"
