Todd whipped into MacGayver mode and grabbed three camping lanterns, a couple of bungee cords, chiffon, and some zip ties to create not only needed but wonderful lighting over the picnic table at our campsite.

To improvise and make things with whatever mis-match material is at hand. This is a name made into a verb. MacGuyver was a television show where the main character (MacGuyver) made things to get out of sticky situations.

Bob: Hey Ted what's up?

Ted: Oh nothing much Bob, just MacGuyvering a nuclear reactor with these lemons and those paper clips, and that D-Cell battery.

Bob: Shit...
