pulp fiction moment

essentially deja vu, but differing from deja vu in that it is reminding you of a scene from the most righteous movie pulp fiction.  When this occurs you have a feeling of entitlement, allowing you to break into pulp fiction dialog.
your buddy uses your towel and gets it bloody and in indignation you get pissed off at him and tell him that when you used the towel "it didn't look like a goddamn maxipad" at that point you have had a pulp fiction moment

pulp fiction

One of the best movies ever created by Tarantino, who by the way kicks motherfucking ass- at making movies. Every scene is a classic.
"Now i want you to go in that bag and find my wallet"
'Which one is it?'
"It's the one that says Bad Motherfucker on it!"

functionally-retarded

Adjective describing a person(s) who has just enough brain cells to survive; devoid of common sense and mental aptitude.
Dave is such a tool. I bet he can't even wipe his own ass. He's functionally-retarded.

People suck. Most of the general public is functionally-retarded.

Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction

One of the best series ever created. BB:FOF went on for four seasons.

BB:FOF was a one hour show. It would show five stories (known as "segments") that were inspired by actual events (supposedly) that were "Beyond Belief". Some would be fact, and some would be fiction. It would be revealed with segments were fact or fiction at the end of the show.

The show premiered on May 1, 1997 and was last aired on September 1, 2002. FOX originally was broadcasting the show, but Sci-Fi eventually took over. The last marathon of BB:FOF ever put on Sci-Fi was back in August of 2005.

Sometimes, BB:FOF is ended with a question mark. It would sometmes be known as: Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction?

James Brolin was the original host, but Jonathon Frakes eventually replaced him.
Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction was such an awesome series. I hope it comes out on DVD.

Functional alcoholic

Someone who can maintain an orderly, outward social appearance while their personal life has devolved into complete chaos due to over-drinking. Their friends and family are often impressed with their achievements, while the alcoholic knows that their drinking has lead to a full-blown loss of control and that it is just a matter of time until their behavior blows up in their face. In a bad way.
Emelio's friends/family: " Emelio is about to graduate med school. We are so proud. We only wish we could accomplish as much".

Emelio: "I am a functional alcoholic. Everyone I know thinks I'm doing great but in reality my brain has turned to slush. I can't believe I BS'd my way through med school and got a 3.8 GP because I don't remember any of it. I can't believe I'm almost 30 and have somehow avoided getting a DUI thus far. Everyone thinks I'm so great, but in reality, I'm totally fucking dangerous but I just haven't been caught yet. It's all catching up with me though. It's only a matter of time until I do something really stupid and everyone will realize what a fuck-up I truly am.
