Anticiparty

The act of celebrating before a planned party or event due to excitement or anticipation—often 1–2 days in advance—which can leave you socially or physically drained and less motivated to attend the original event
Example (noun):
“Friday night turned into a full anticiparty, and now I barely have energy for the wedding.”
Example (verb):
“We anticipartied too hard and almost skipped the actual birthday party.”

Second-hand anticipation

Also known as SHA;
• a state of mental or emotional excitement occurring when someone is going to try something you love for the first time
• A form of reminiscence - a fond memory of when you tried something for the first time with an inability to experience that feeling ever again

SAD: Seasonal Anticipation Disorder 

People who start looking forward to the next weather season about halfway through the current season. In the winter they can’t wait until it’s warm and in the summer they can’t wait to wear boots and coats.
Every year it’s the same thing, about halfway through winter Anne is looking forward to the next season.Then it’s the same in summer. It’s either too hot or too cold. Yeah, it’s SAD: Seasonal Anticipation Disorder.
