A geek is someone who has an advanced knowledge and interest of the video game universe and/or the internet trends. A gamer can seem like the same thing, but in fact, the gamer is only invested in his own games and has little to no knowledge regarding others types of gaming platforms. Not to be confused either with the nerd who is great at school and well implicated in his studies and the pursuit of a big career.
