“FlopTok” is a mixture of TikTok and Flops. The term “Flop” originated when Stan Twitter memes started to rise on TikTok in October - December 2020, and people started to use the term “Flop Era” as a joke when Stan Twitter videos would get low views and low likes. In November 2021, the “Haunted House video” started to become a meme on twitter and TikTok, and it became a big factor on FlopTok. This was one of the biggest events in FlopTok history. This made FlopTok very popular, and Late 2021 is when FlopTok started to gain more and more attention. The flop icons, such as Jiafei, CupcakKe, President Deborah Ali Williams, Wendy Williams, Kristine Jenster, and many more gained popularity in FlopTok. Jiafei and CupcakKe were some of the very first FlopTok icons.
Have you ever heard of FlopTok? It’s the best side of TikTok.

flippity floppity floop

Black people always used to say, "I'm in the house" instead of "I'm here." But then white people all started to say "in the house" so we switched it to "in the hizzouse." Hizzouse became hizzizzouse, and then white folk started saying that, and we had to change it to hizzie, then "in the hizzle" which we had to change to "hizzle fo shizzle," and now, because white people say "hizzle fo shizzle," we have to say "flippity floppity floop."
Come on, Mr. Slave! Let's get back to our flippity floppity floop.
