Peter Time

Peter Time is approximately two hours after you plan on being somewhere or doing something. It is often used to describe the internal clock of someone who is consistently late to the party/event/gathering.

My friend said we were meeting in the park at six but it's already way past that. He must be running on Peter Time.

After hearing or witnessing something that would normally get a person upset, it is the act of turning the other way and pretending like it never happened.

Guy #1: So...did you hear that Jim knew that girl was being raped and did nothing?

Guy #2: Yeah, he was busy pulling a Joe Paterno.

Paternover

A Paternover is a college football term originating from the Penn State Nittany Lions. The teams propensity to turn the ball over to the opposing team during crucial games is unherald. Named for Joe Paterno the teams coach for 40+ years.

Tub: "Did you see the 2009 Rose Bowl Game?"
Vent: "Yeah PSU made some serious Paternovers at crucial moments."
Tub: "Give Joe a break, he is 80+ and couldn't turn over an omlette with his bum hip."
Vent: "Yeah, but his teams Paternover ratio is way too high. We Are Penn State!"

Peter Pan Complex

believes they deserve to have whatever they want, lazy, slacker, believes fun is the most important thing in life, does the minimum to get by, life lacks direction, avoids responsibilities, people tell them they are childish and need to grow up, would rather live in their head than the real world, wants success to just happen to them, focuses on fantasies more than reality, never know what to do next, does not feel they have any reason to accomplish anything, tend to ignore or put off problems, believes fun is the most important thing in life, most people think they are crazy, forgets scheduled appointments, motivated more by the past or now than future, gets attention through negative behavior

Feeling her parents should provide everything she wanted, Heather refused to get a part time job so she could party more. Heather was suffering from Peter Pan Complex.
