Get the Big Boy Pants mug.An anime/manga series written by Jun Mochizuki and published by Square Enix. It can be considered fantasy and mystery.
It has a very original and unique plot, yet a bit complex to explain as well. Essentially, it is about a supposed 'fictional' dimension called the "Abyss" where criminals are sent to endure punishment for unspeakable crimes. It was a story told to kids to keep them from misbehaving, yet this fifteen year old boy gets sent there for an unexplained reason. He escapes with some help and ends up ten years in the future. Once in the future he is recruited by an organization called Pandora to help them to discover what the Abyss actually is.
The anime is twenty-five episodes (completed) and deviates from the Manga. The manga is still ongoing.
This series features heavy references to Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Caroll, and Through the Looking Glass.

Get the Pandora Hearts mug.a word loosely defined as “cultivating the total world of women--physical, intellectual, and moral,” was one of the names that Mary Lyon was considering before the name "Mount Holyoke" won out.
