Glory Hunter

A glory hunter is a sports fan who mainly supports their preferred club just because of their success. They will usually have little to no knowledge of their club, such as chants, inside jokes, culture and in-depth history. When you question them about some of the things that i have just listed, they will nervously blurt out some memorised facts that they learned from a Wikipedia page about their club. Oh, and they will never buy merchandise.

Anyone who lives in northern new jersey and goes to private school knows what the hunt is. It's a horse race in far hills, but nobody goes for the horses. Preppy high school and college kids go to get drunk. Girls are decked out in sweaters, boots, and suede/leather skirts while boys wear khaki pants and a vineyard vines shirt.

Person 1: Hey are you going to the hunt this weekend?
Person 2: Yeah! Of course. I can't wait to see those horses *wink wink*
