Upstate Sureño

The term ''Upstate Sureño'' is used to describe a Chicano gang member that bangs Sur 13 in Northern territory. They generally live in areas outside of the Southern California within California itself. In other words, they reside in Central, or Nothern California. They believe they are superior to Norteños(their rivals) & feel as though they are taking over thier turfs.

Sureño from Los Angeles: Ey ese, where you from?

Sureño from Fresno: I'm from Fresno ese.

Sureño from Los Angeles: Chales, you're an Upstate Sureño, que no?

Hadji Don't Surf

Hadji became a derogatory name used by American troops to describe enemy fighters during the war in Iraq. The phrase "Hadji Don't Surf" is based on “CHARLIE DON’T SURF!” from the Viet Nam war movie “Apocalypse Now.” The phrase "Hadji Don't Surf" is a morale declaration that Americans are militarily and culturally superior to their Iraqi enemies.

Captain: "We've been ordered to secure that town TODAY."
Sergeant frowns: "Hmm... that will be a challenge, sir."
Captain smiles. "Yeah, but Hadji don't surf."

Fer sure

Another way to say for sure or definitely, except way cooler sounding. Used a lot by scenesters and hip people. Became very popular after The Medic Droid released there song titled "Fer Sure".

"Sup steph are you goin to that show tonight?" " Yeaa fer sure!"
