Having so much of something (modern conveniences, technology, etc) that it becomes inconvenient.

Person 1: "I love my new house, but the WiFi signal in the 7th bedroom is too weak. I need to buy another router to cover the whole house."
Person 2: "Wow. You have a serious case of the Solan Effect."

The Turg effect

Being the underdog at a challenge or activity to the point where the other people in the challenge or activity want you to win and/or giving you a large advantage and/or letting you win.
This is NOT pity

Turg: "This is my 12th time being 5th in mario cart! I'm getting better!"
Everyone else "Okay guys this round we'll give turg a 30 secound headstart, and not hit him with any shells, Understand?"
Turg: "Wow! The Turg effect is so cool!"

Moody effect

A situation where a person looks darker in a photograph or very tanned due to a second very white (light skin toned) person in the photograph aswell

"You look very tanned, too much sun or just the Moody effect?"

"You're not dark, its just him causing the Moody effect"

The effect caused when Miles Morales in "Spiderman - Into the spiderverse" threw a bagel at a man which caused an extremely strong villian to be known as "The spot" who could possibly cause the end of the spiderverse

(2004) Synonym with white flight. Literally, an unorganized movement of white 16-22 year olds away from the old Abercrombie staple to once again, recapture a sense of patrician exclusivity characteristic of many American whites.

The LaCoste Effect increases as the frequency of non-white Abercombie- wearers increase.
