“Feet, don't fail me now!” is an old expression that's usually said when someone is running away from peril- they do not want to slow down so that they will be trapped or caught, and are self-encouraging themselves to keep going. In the song, it's used more as an excuse to keep dancing and not get tired.

Irish feet is the term used to describe when you've reached the point of head-throbbing-wasted-awesomeness where you can't walk 3 feet without stumbling over everything that's in your path.
