Drop dead money

The term comes from a character in the James Clavell novel, “Taipan”. A character in that novel, a lady executive has the objective to have “drop dead money”. The “drop dead money” is that amount of money that she calculates she needs so that she would have the freedom and the luxury to tell anyone to “drop dead” without worrying about her financial security.

To accumulate this “drop dead” money she had been working hard for a businessman who had promised her a bonus equivalent to the “drop dead money” if she could pull off a successful acquisition.

Booty drop

The act of (usually during dancing) practically crouching on the floor for a split second followed by a slow rising of the booty usually with it stuck out in the air as far as possible. Associated with black/ghetto dancing although the white community has now adopted it as well.

When you start making a good beat so that someone can listen or rap to it. If y'all are just chillin' or whatever you can use a pen or pencil or whatever and start beating on a desk or whatever.
*note* Teachers are very annoyed with this, even if your beat is tight.
