The simple folkland creatures from the Jim Henson movie of 1981 called The Dark Crystal. the poddlings were unimaginative sloth-like woodland rubes that offered up very little "life essence".
In the retail world a "Poddling would be a simple unimaginative woodland rube customer who had very little to offer up in the way of buying power and hence nothing in the way of "purchasing essence".

The Poddling came in all gawk-mouthed over all the fancy furniturings. He hadn't even a vague grasp of the obvious while taken a gander at all of what we wuz selling, and even worse, he hadn't even a dime to buy a clue the whole time he loitered through out the entire store.

Poddin'

The act of stating some real and/or deep information unexpectedly and randomly, typically when the conversation has a slow drag on a topic, this often occurs on social platforms, i.e. a Podcast.

See, women have this loss of accountability, y'know, the "her body her choice" is all good till she feels she made the wrong choice, then its "Her body, yo fault"

Proddie

Someone who studies Television Production at Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga. They love of their HD outside broadcast truck, their multicamera television studio and their strong relationship with their fellow acting and design students. They hang around TV Land and the Visual Arts department. There is usually over 100 proddies at any given moment enrolled in Wagga Wagga.

Every year they produce O-Week TV to the first years and graduates can be found working in every broadcaster in Australia.

"Who are those teenagers with massive cameras in Baylis St?"

"They are proddies"
