A closeted homosexual male who claims to be a metrosexual to try to make others less suspicious of their sexuality.Psuedo-Metrosexuals are always fairly feminine, but not always to the point where it's extreme but enough where if they came out it wouldn't really be surprizing.

Note: not all Metrosexuals are secretly gay.

Dave was scared people will suspect him of being gay so he told everyone he's a metrosexual. Everyone knows he's really a Psuedo-Metrosexual, but they don't want to make him feel bad.

A metrosexual would enjoy such festivities such as make-overs, putting on make up, getting his hair "done", putting on body spray scented with either cucumber melon, raspberry, mango or any other fruit-like smell, and constantly looking at themselves in the mirror. These men also tend to be bulimic because they are afraid of being fat and can be seen on any episode of American Idol, either as the host, judge (Simon Cowell), or as a contestant.

A straight man who exudes masculinity, virility, and strength, but expresses it not through crass behavior but rather through a desire to provide for his family, or community. He often will work with hands, and have physical attributes such as facial hair, and a muscular physique. These characteristics are not as highly refined as a metrosexual however. The musculature of a machosexual is likely to not be as defined, or obtained strictly for appearances. The facial hair of a machosexual will also be less controlled.

Vince Vaugn's character in the movie "The Breakup" is a classic machosexual.

The New York Fire Department is full of machosexuals.
