Get the Grosomes mug.Geosocial support is the perception and actuality that one is cared for in all areas of the world, has assistance available from other people regardless of location, and that one is part of a supportive social network which has a global reach. These supportive resources can be emotional (e.g., caring), tangible (e.g., financial assistance), informational (e.g., advice, technical support), or companionship (e.g., sense of belonging). Like Social support, Geosocial support can be measured as the perception that one has assistance available from any location on earth, the actual received assistance (non dependent on location), or the degree to which a person is integrated in a geosocial network with a shared location. Geosocial support can come from many sources, such as family, friends, associates, colleagues, organizations, coworkers, etc. Geosocial support is cross cultural and transcends language barriers
Land surveyors in history had a difficult time finding answers to their problems in the field, until one day land surveyors united in the name of Geosocial Support and now they can solve problems with the collaborative social support of their associates around the world, without worrying about language barriers.

Get the grood (adj.) mug. This word is a combination of "gnosis" (knowledge) and "narcissist" (a self-centered person). So, a gnosonarcissist is a person who believes in a self-centered way that his level of knowledge is correct and/or complete despite what others know. This implies a lack of understanding that others might know more in areas of knowledge in either a horizontal way (breadth of knowledge) or a vertical way (depth of knowledge).
Dudley was a gnosonarcissist who believed that his own limited understanding was better than the the knowledge of others who knew much more.
