A portmanteau of the words "Evangelical" and "genital".

A derogatory term for a conservative Christian who is obsessed with what other people do with their private parts, often targeting LGBTQ+ people, and projecting their inner perverse desires in the form of socially acceptable anger.

My Evangenital uncle does nothing but talk about what trans people do with their private areas. He's also obsessed with what people do in their private bedrooms, too. He's disgusting!
