eastland mall

A mall in Harper Woods, MI(suburb NE of Detroit). Opened in the 1950's as a mid to higher end outdoor shopping mall. It was remodelled and turned into an indoor center. The mall currently serves a large African American consumee base which focuses more on clothes, shoes, and fast food outlets. The Mall is on the corner infamous 8 Mile Road and Kelly Road. It has one of the largest theft rates in metro Detroit due to the lower-income clientele. The residents of the ultra-welathy Grosse Pointes (nearby) do not shop there anymore.

EAStard

A kid who's obsessed with Emergency Alert System or EAS for short. Most of these kids are easily recognizable with SPC as a prefix for their nicknames, which stands for Storm Prevention Control. Most of these kids like the mocks of the infamous Emergency Alert System, and probably record their NOAA Radios going off, while they SOMEHOW know that their NOAA Radios will go off at that specific time, probably a bunch of psychics.

Guy 1: There's this weird kid at my school who brought his NOAA weather radio in the class, glad the teacher told him to turn it off.
Guy 2: This kid is definitely an EAStard. I swear, his Youtube Channel is SPCeastornadomaster13 (example) and records videos of his NOAA radios going off loudly.
Guy 1: Very true.

Eastland Mall

Eastland Mall wasn't lost due to lack of appreciation, people did love going there. It was lost because someone knew people loved going there.

Eastland Mall wasn't lost because peole didn't love it enough, as some people would try to suggest.

Eastland Mall

The mall that died with honor, by not changing, reiventing itself, or keeping up with the rest no matter who threatened it with closure. It died as Eastland, no matter what negative attention came its way late in its life. It was the grand mall for the working people and not just the wealthy.

Eastland Mall is missed, a lot of people wouldn't think a mall would be missed.
