Awkward friendship

A friendship that feels awkward, especially after being dumped by your significant other.

Usually a friendship that you won't keep after being dumped by your girlfriend/boyfriend.

Guy 1: You got dumped by that hot chick you really like? Are you still friends with her?

Guy 2: Ehhhh, I am, but, it's real awkward. Now, she can have a relationship with any guy she wants, and not feel guilty about talking to me about it. I may as well dump her as a friend. What I have with her is an awkward friendship.

Used by morons and/or K-5th grade.

Typically used when the situation doesn't call for it, and is thus typically overused and unfunny (misspelled or not, turns out).

Awkward Swag

The ultimate form and stage of the Swag cycle. The swag molecules will grow exponentially until it reaches a point where the molecules overflow through the person's body. This will usually corrupt the person's speech and body actions in a way so inexplicably awkward. The person will start to feel very fly, causing them to act like a bird and make them do the occasional bird sound. The biggest advantage of having awkward swag is that it makes them a chick magnet, which helps gain baby chickens.

Dude 1: Yo dude, you're acting so fly. Are you on meth?
Dude 2: Hahaha, no. It's my awkward swag.

Baby Chick 1: Hey girl, why am I attracted to that guy?
Baby Chick 2: IT'S HIS AWKWARD SWAG!!! HE'S A CHICK MAGNET!!

a member of the "awkward objects" community of phrases.

formed by the relaxed and smooth crossing of the wrists featuring the somewhat vertical placement of the arms to form the trunks of the tree. the fingers are then free to move as though they are blowing in the awkward wind.

my personal favorite "awkward" is the awkward palm tree.

awkward "what?"

When someone is talking to you and you don't hear them so you say "What?" and they repeat themselves but you still don't hear them so you say "What?" again and they repeat themselves again but you still don't hear them so you just smile and nod.

"How do you do this math problem?"
"What?"
"How do you do this math problem?"
"What?"
"How do you do this math problem?"
... smile and nod... "Oh, ok..."

Awkward Monday

the monday after Homecoming weekend, where everyone hears the stories of what happened at the party, and all of the people who hooked up are UBER awkward around each other/ avoidant. my personal favorite day of the year.
