The ship and real life relationship name for British Youtubers Phil (AmazingPhil) and Dan (DanielHowell and Danisnotonfire)
At one point the Phandom (fans of phan) was associated with being aggressive and overbearing to the point of hurting the pair emotionally. After the demon hype went down a bit and the pair took a break, Dan finally had the confidence to say he was queer. It is mostly confirmed that they are together at least 2019. Don't pressure them into saying anything more.

phan syndrome

term steming from the dan and phil fandom, phan syndrome is being so infatuated with a ship/community that its on your mind 24/7. you think about it in class, walking, sleeping, eating, you can't stop thinking about these two specific people. this phase often phases out slowly over the course of a month. often thoughts in your head are disturbing
