Derived from "faux pas" and pronounced <fone pah>.

I thought I hung up the phone, but realized the person on the other end could hear me say awful things about her - what a major phone pas!

A portmanteau of "FUBAR" and "faux pas". A blunder that is so massive, it results in a FUBAR situation. Can also be described as Fucked Up (FU) step ("pas" being the French for step), i.e. a FU-pas

When you have multiple chat/IM/messenger windows open with different people simultaneously and you inadvertently type and send an insulting/offensive/insensitive comment in the wrong chat window, specifically the one with the person referred to.

Something some cunt says because they have a superiority complex that involves the complete and utter fucking inability to speak like a normal goddamn human being. The word literally means mistake. That's it. That's all it means. Say mistake, error, fuck up, anything... please. Cunt.
