om nom

An onomatopoeical adjective based on the sound emitted when something is "oh so tasty" (either through hunger or flavorological value) that one gnaws through it without regard to cleanliness or etiquette. This sort of ravenous eating will often result in an "om nom nom nom" noise being emitted from the eater.

Arthur: Gosh, I haven't eaten for days.
Dirk: Me neither. We're both starving equally.
Arthur: Look! A whole cooked chicken with side of mashed potatoes and a warm/soft dinner roll!
Dirk: We have to decide which of us gets to eat first. To be fair, we should rock-paper-scissors for it.
Arthur: Om nom nom nom nom!
Dirk: Arthur, you're a jerk. A real knee-biter.

om nom nom dot com :)

A fun phrase to say when somebody is eating something, the original usage of this word began as "nom nom nom" and was largely used online for lawlcats and the like. After the popularity of "dot com" in song and web, the dot com was added largely because it rhymed.

A. A common phrase used by the heavy in Team Fortress 2. The line is usually executed upon eating a sandvich to boost his health.

B. The cutest and funniest girl on xbox live. She speaks her mind and can make any game fun to play. Known best for her adorable giggles and witty attitude.

A. Medic - "I NEED ASSISTANCE! I AM ON FIRE"
Heavy - "Baby man, Sandvich is MINE!" eats sammich, "om nom nom, om nom sandvich is DELICIOUS"

B. Guy 1 - Dude I played with chick yesterday on L4D and she was possibly the funniest and most adorable person ever.
Guy 2 - That could have possibly been om nom sandvich, she's pretty epic.

om nom

The sound of ravenous eating. Popularized by the character Cookie Monster on Sesame street, it is now used commonly in speech, especially among younger people. Cookie Monster exclaims "OM NOM NOM NOM" when gobbling down cookies (and whatever else goes in his mouth).

You can "om nom" on things besides food... for example, play-eating babies' toes to make them laugh.

omnomnomnom (dot) com is a pop culture website where people submit their own silly photos that have been manipulated in Paint to resemble monsters eating various things, including people and pets.

Cookie Monster: "COOOKIES!!!!!! OM NOM NOM NOM" (Eats everything, including plate)

Most commonly found in lolcats and similar macros. It usually translate as, "I am absorbed in eating this".

The phrase may relate to the sound Cookie Monster makes on Sesame Street when eating cookies.

Also "Om nom nom".
