Plain and simple, this was started by the Mexicans. It's their way of saying "Man".. This is due to the Mexican accent converted to English. Now people say 'mang' because it's (1) different and (2) humorous.

An engagement ring worn by a man. Often worn by men in a relationship with a more progressive partner. Usually applies to heterosexual couples. Man + Engagement Ring= Mangagement ring

Dude A: What is that ring all about, I didn't think you were married?

Mangammon

Just as women have gammon between their legs men do too. Mangammon refers to the stretch of flesh between a mans bollocks and his arsehole. It is highly sacred.

"Hey, why didn't you get the job at Fries R Us?"
"Oh, I whapped out my Mangammon during the interview and tickled it with a burger bun so that was that!"

manga hobo

Guy or Girl who would permanently camp out in the manga section of Borders, Kinokuniya or Barnes and Noble in order to read manga, but never actually buys anything, thus hampering the royalties manga artists can earn.

Not always scruffy, can be deceptively clean, but inside their heads is the mind of a cheapskate.

This word is a variation of Hobotaku which has appeared in various online and blog articles related to the state of the manga publishing industry.

Greg is such a manga hobo. Why doesn't he actually pay for anything. Does he even leave this section?

phonebook manga

A slang term for the weekly manga magazines which are quite common in Japan and nerd specialty stores. These weekly manga are considerably huge and used use thin paper similar to that found in phonebooks, hence the name "Phonebook Manga".

You'd have a lot more space in this room if you threw away some of those phonebook mangas.

Mang Fest

A large annual party occuring in Fairfield County Connecticut. The first Mang Fest occurred on August 1st 2009 and has since been an annual tradition. Mang Fest represents the finest qualities of Fairfield County and the overall "rage" mentality of the 203.
