Map

The point of a map is not to tell somebody how to navigate, it's to be a reference they don't need to rely on always, even if it's a reliable reference.

The map was good for what it was, but it wasn't something anybody must have.

Ghost-mapping

Ghost-mapping means using "GPS Cloak" to keep your mobile phone's true location private without having to drop off your social network's shared map.

Bob, an iPhone user, is part of the Loopt social network that allows friends to know where each other are at all times. Bob decides to ghost-map and go to the mall. He uses "GPS Cloak" for ghost-mapping. He he cloaks his true "Ghost Lōc" location at the mall while his phone's gps broadcasts to his Loopt friends that he is at the gym.
