A security guard assigned to a library. Many libraries now need extra security due to increasing problems with intoxicated patrons, shouting matches between patrons, and other inappropriate behavior between adults and/or children.

public library

a place located somewhere in YOUR neighborhood where bums, punk kids and old people tend to hang out. They smell, rarely are clean, and are loaded with books. the stench is that of booze mixed with body oder toppled off with a touch of old rotting building. They tend to offer free services besides books such as wifi or computer access. This tends to attract more bums who constantly watch porno on the computers.

Library Bae

Someone you don't know of the opposite sex which you see in the library and mentally claim for your own.

Generally used by university students studying for exams due to sitting in the same spot for a long time and procrastinating by looking at passers by.

Commonly used on social networking sites such as YikYak.

Person 1:- "I was sat opposite my library bae for 3 hours today, It was bliss"
Person 2:- "did you speak to her?"
Person 1:- "No but I caught her eye once"

pubic library

A place of learning and research that does not employ a filthter on its internet-connection, allowing its patrons easy and unrestricted access to "juicy 'n' wet" websites.

I was unable to research the history of human contraceptives due to the "regular" library's overly-picky filthter system, so I hadda travel a good ways to find a pubic library just so that I could get the info I needed.
