Being uneducated on specific subjects.
Actually most of these definitions are written by ignorant people, who shouldn't be giving "definitions" to others.

Officially: An offensive term that deliberately insults somebody's level of intelligence or education.

In slang: A person who is completely ignorant, an ass, a prik, idiot, etc.

That guy's ignoramus. I despise him.

Choosing to remain uninformed because the marginal cost of obtaining the information is higher than the marginal benefit of knowing it.

Commonly practiced by hicks that don't wish to change their point of views about ANYTHING.

"All dem blackies wanna do is steal turnips outta mah garden!"

"Men are pigs!"

1. A portmanteau of "Ignore" and "Ignoramus" referring to a collective of stupid people "ignored" on a forum.

2. A fictional town whose inhabitants are innately intellectually lacking.

Ignoradical

Splice of ignorant and radical used for someone foolishly biased, in a political or otherwise debatable situation. Anyone who heatedly picks a side to argue without considering anything about the views of that side, only the fact that they want to argue it to the end.

Person A:"Man are you Democrat or Republican?"
Person B:"Dude I don't fall for that ignoradical bullshit. I pick whoever has the best policies."

Person A:(Very heated) "People have the right to know whats going on in celebrities lives!"
Person B:"Oh yeah?! Do you always listen to everything the media tells you? Would you like it if people pried into your daily life?! God you're such an ignoradical!"

Ignority

The social group populated by those individuals who are rejected, shunned, forgotten or otherwise ignored by so-called "normal people" for no reason other than that they occupy a different niche.

The Ignority does not necessarily consist of any greater or lesser number of individuals than any other group, though they can be viewed as a minority due to media, cultural or social perception.

Something of a catch-all, 'Ignority' is meant to be an umbrella term including nerds, geeks, weirdos and anyone else that feels that they are part of the world that does not belong.

Rather than being judged by the color of their skin or their religious background, members of the Ignority are judged and treated based on their interests as human beings.
