Used to refer to the anticipated 2022 New York congressional maps expected to be disproportionately favorable to the Democratic Party.

A portmanteau between current Governor of New York Kathy Hochul and the legislative process of gerrymandering.

It is anticipated after the 2020 census and is the product of the 2020 redistricting cycle in New York after the state legislature rejected maps drawn by a nonpartisan committee.

Dude, the Hochulmander is coming, it could give Democrats 5 more seats from New York’s delegation!
