Blue Gender

Yuji Kaido was diagnosed with a serious disease (the "B-cells") and cryogenically frozen. He wakes up more than 20 years later and Earth is nothing like what he remembers. A race of alien bugs called the Blue have taken over the planet, and a few select humans have retreated to the space station Second Earth. Yuji is taken back to Second Earth, where he learns that he and the other sleepers will be instrumental in defeating the Blue. And his relationship with one member of the recovery squad only serves to complicate things.

Blue Gender is an excellent 26 episode anime series. In 2003, Blue Gender was released in the U.S. as part of Cartoon Network's Adult Swim, though it had originally been planned for Toonami, and was thus edited to remove its graphic violence, nudity, and sex scenes.

Polybit gender

Combines poly (from the Greek polus "much" and polloi "many") with bit (binary digit).

An alternative to the term non-binary gender which acknowledges that it is possible to count above two in binary so long as you use two or more bits. For instance with 2 bits you get 4 genders, 3 bits 8 genders, and 32 bits you get 4,294,967,296 genders. In general, with n bits there are two to the power of n possible genders.

Gender Studies Professor

Gender Envy

A term that people who fall under the transgender umbrella or label use when they feel envious of someone's appearance. Usually, how they present (masculine, feminine, androgynous.) The reason why some transgender people may feel gender envy for something ambiguous or even somebody is like stated before, how it may be presented to them and/or other people.

Please don't bash people who feel gender envy towards certain things or people simply because you don't understand the feeling yourself.

Person 1: I don't get how you can feel gender envy cause of clothing?
Person 2: I just think it looks androgynous, and I wish I could seem androgynous too.
