Matt Dodge

Verb:
To kick a line drive straight to your rival team's reciever when the game is tied at 31-31 when you previously had a 31-10 lead with 8 minutes left in a game that pretty much decided your season, and when that said reciever bobbles the football, then runs 70 yds to score the game winning touchdown with no time left on the clock, no flags, nothing.

To get fired from a team because you couldn't fucking punt the ball out of bounds.

To dumb it down, it means to fuck up on ONE play that could've easily been done correctly.
Guy 1: Dude, i mispronounced a word while talking to my boss, and i got fired.
Guy 2: fuckin loser, you totally pulled a Matt Dodge.

Round Dodger

A person in a group who when it comes to their turn to buy a round of drinks will attempt to avoid it.

Common strategies used by round dodgers are:

Going to the toilet
Making phone calls
Lie that they forgot their wallet
Ben: Hey, Tom, it's your turn to buy us a round, John bought the last one.
Tom: Ummm... I need the toilet. Gimme a minute.
John: Tom, stop being a round dodger and buy the next fucking round of drinks!

2 minutes later

Ben: Tom, now you're back, buy a round. Do your part.

Tom: I need to make an important call. Give me a few minutes.
John: BUY OUR FUCKING DRINKS YOU TIGHT AS A DUCK'S ARSE ROUND DODGER!

Later, John kills Tom. The lesson is, buy a round.

diagetic

As told or recounted rather than shown. Derived from diagesis, a style of fiction. In diagesis, a narrator tells a story. It has stood in contrast with mimesis -- in which you are shown rather than told -- since Aristotelean times.

When Jack Johnson sings about the diagetic world, he is talking about the world you are told about, and complaining that you can't accept the narrative that you hear.

Alternately, one can think of the Director's cut of Blade Runner as more mimetic, forcing you to put things together, while the one that was put in theatres with the voice overs to fill in the gaps as a more diagetic presentation.

This word is probably a bit uppity for this place, but it doesn't appear in the dictionary, and two incorrect definitions have already been given.

Dodge Challenger

Bitchin' muscle car made by Dodge. Often confused with the Charger, in spite of a big difference in appearance. The new one is the sickest pony car out right now. Plus, it will be worth a fortune in the future because production will probably stop within the next few years. Many think the new Camaro is better purely because the interior looks "nicer." (These people know nothing about driving because they should be focused on the road and not what color the speedometer is and thinking it's fun when their ass slips on their leather seats.)

To see some examples of this car, watch the movies Vanishing Point & Death Proof.
The original Dodge Challenger was built from the same platform as the Plymouth Barracuda.

Doge

Doge (often pronounced /ˈdoʊʒ/ dohzh or /ˈdoʊɡ/ dohg)2 is an Internet meme that became popular in 2013. The meme typically consists of a picture of a Shiba Inu accompanied by multicolored text in Comic Sans font in the foreground. The text, representing a kind of internal monologue, is deliberately written in a form of broken English.1

The meme is based on a 2010 photograph, and became popular in late 2013, being named as Know Your Meme's "top meme" of that year. A cryptocurrency based on Doge, the Dogecoin, was launched in December 2013, and the Shiba Inu is featured on Josh Wise's NASCAR car as part of a sponsorship deal. Doge has also been referenced by members of the United States Congress, a safety video for Delta Air Lines, a Google Easter egg, and the video for the song "Word Crimes" by "Weird Al" Yankovic.
