A phrase used to describe a chilly, brisk temperature; cold enough to cause your nipples to harden if you are without a jacket or overcoat.

“Is it cold out today?”
“It’s a tid bit nipply, but not too bad.”

A task or duty that is mildly tedious and something you would rather not do. Less severe than a task which is a, "right ball ache"

Having to do your timesheets at 17:30 on a Friday before you can leave work is a bit of a ball ache.

British. A date or sex partner who is of a lower social class. Similar to 'wrong side of the tracks'. Usually male.

A tounge in cheek explanation from programmers as to why an old program no longer works, even if it hasn't been touched in years.
Also applys to the decay of physical storage mediums.
