These nerds are obsessed with Japanese animation (anime), and by extension, everything Japanese. They spend all their time drawing anime characters, watching anime, collecting manga and anime paraphernalia, listening to Japanese pop music, and inserting random Japanese phrases and words inappropriately into every day conversations whenever the chance arises.
They will sometimes argue that Japanese culture and society is superior to Western culture and all other cultures in every single manner.
Its alright for everyone to have one or two geeky hobbies, so long as you aren't obsessed and spend all your time and energy thinking and talking about it. If anime is your only interest, then you are an anime nerd, and you need to get out more and develop your personality.
