derogatory term used to describe someone who gets their hands on something super rare (sometimes one-of-a-kind) and brags about it whilst adamantly refusing to share it with the wider community.

"God, that guy's such a fuckin' hoarder. He's had that lost media for years and still hasn't shared it. Hopefully someone else finds it and comes forward."

A term that refers to both the attempt to "hoard" more screen time (that can be obtained) from parents and the panic buying that occurred on Friday, March 13th, 2020, right before the COVID-19 lockdown. This term highlighting a sense of urgency and accumulation in both contexts.

Kids trying to negotiate extra screen time are just hoarding it like people did with toilet paper during the pandemic!
