I always make sure to thoroughly interview each and every one of da volunteers who are being considered for a task or expedition, to make sure dat none of them have any personal or political views dat might create a snituation during said undertaking.

Telling on, tattletale, or reporting something or someone in itself is not considered snitching.
It has to have a sense of betrayal to it in order to be considered snitching.
In other words.
Agreeing not to tell on, tattletale, or report something or someone but do it anyways.
For example.
A Person, who is your friend, asks you to not tell anybody, especially his wife, that he went to a strip club.
Then you tell that person that you will not say anything about it anybody, including his wife.
Then you turn around and tell his wife about it anyways.
That's considered snitching.
