1. Someone who does something they dont want/like to do to please people whether it be punks, goths or even preps. yes, preps.
2. Someone who doesn't act like themselves.

1. Why is that prep trying to act like a hardcore person? What a poser ~or~ why is that hardcore person trying to be preppy? What a poser.
2. You can only tell if someone is a poser if you ask them if they like being hardcore or preppy or whatever. If they dont and they say they're only like that to please others then they are a poser. If you define a poser by what they where then all goths are posers and all preps are freaks.

Anyone that is insecure about who they are inside. People that arent sure what they want to be like and are trying to blend in. Usually, you can tell right off the bat who is a poser. I have a friend that dresses ghetto-like, skates horribly and trys to blend in with us rockers.

prosecco ghetto

Any area of any large town or city where it is predominantly middle class. The tell tale signs are a Londis or Bargain Booze that is selling upmarket items like organic Cous Cous and Prosecco.

I have just bought a flat in the middle of Prosecco Ghetto its very nice and near to Waitrose.
